A very unlikely final in Shanghai. Arthur Rinderknech & Valentin Vacherot will play in the final of the tournament. The 2 players are cousins. Their mothers are sisters. Both players competed for Texas A&M University on the college circuit, where they were teammates from 2016-2018.

Osaka beat Kasatkina 6-0, 4-6, 6-3 in the 3rd round of USO. Naomi was in good form & had more winners than Daria. Naomi will face Coco Gauff in the round of 16. Naomi & Coco haven’t played since Beijing last year where they split the 1st 2 sets but then Naomi retired before the 3rd.
