Oh, ya the Electron had an expansion to it. ROM slots, printer interface and an analogue joystick port.

My second home computer, the Acorn Electron. I think we are talking 1982 from the date code on the PCB.

Well where it is, my third "home" computer. The ZX Spectrum 48K.
I added a power switch (top right)!

No running out of ink with this bad boy.. the biggest nightmare was running out of thermal paper!

Found me copy of BeOS!

Trying out a few wired ethernet options at the moment. A few Olimex ESP32 options, a Raspberry Pi pico with PoE module and finally an Orange Pi.

Just finished a controller for our heating system. An ESP32 POE Ethernet dev board with a relay and DS18B20 for local temperature measurement. Running Tasmota to interface with my MQTT server. Wifi was bad in the area the old controller was located. Time for a wired solution!
