The ability to start and warm up my car from my mobile phone is very much appreciated on these bitterly cold mornings.

Is it just me, or am I right when I say the media never has a 'Good news' story. Is it because good news can not be easily sensationalised?

I see the older members of my community are spending time in the pubs during the evening and having 1 soft drink. I've discovered they are not there for social reason's but to keep warm because they can't afford to heat their own homes. This is utter madness.

I'm old enough to remember days gone by when the bin men collected 'everything' once a week, we had 2 post delivery's a day, the milkman came everyday, and the last post collection was 5.30pm not 4.30pm. You didn't have to wait weeks to see a GP, and you could actually get a dentist.

If the TV license was scrapped and the BBC became a subscription only TV service, l wonder how long it would remain in business? 🤔

So apparently, we now have the police investigating a 9 year old child for saying a fellow student smells like a fish.
9 year olds are below the age of criminal responsibility, and as far as I know, it's not a crime anyway.
Do we really need this kind of thing going on?

It appears to me that the only country left that has 'true' freedom of speech is the USA.

I am becoming very concerned about the state of free speech in the UK. We seem to be moving towards a police state.
