Last week this lapwing was at Martin Mere @wwtworldwide.bsky.social, originally ringed as a chick at Elmley NNR, Kent in May. While a first winter male pintail enjoyed a good wash. @louise-greenwood.bsky.social

Enjoyed a lovely sunny day at Newbiggin-by-the-Sea yesterday seeing 27 little auks passing in 1.5 hours as well as velvet scoter and long-tailed duck while the waders put on a show below, especially the stunning golden plover on the sea coal @louise-greenwood.bsky.social
