I have come to believe that statements like Rahm’s are contemptuous of American citizens, of our moral commitments. We only care about our individual and familial needs, so politicians who want our votes mustn’t call out war crimes and the abuse and murder of our own citizens

Yes, shame on them both. Their editorial boards seem to be nearly lost causes. In this moment of tragedy and global peril the Washington Post editorial boards deemed it the right moment to tell us why Governor Tim Walz is a failure. Strange focus and poorly argued piece.

Don't forget other ICE contractors:

Get DOT # of vehicle.
Go to www.fmcsa.dot.gov/consumer-pro...

This: creates public record, causes delays/inspections, potential loss of DOT permit.

Indeed. It is a problem for every country that is not the US, Russia or China. Per the recent National Security Strategy, each of these superpowers is in charge of its own sphere of influence, and is empowered (by themselves) to act as thy wish within those spheres.

Yes, and Trump’s excuse - if we had told them (Congress) they would have leaked it is pathetic. The expectation that someone will not fulfill their part of a legal process doesn’t provide license to side-step the law altogether.

I would agree, but note that there is a lot of use of “Congress,” as in “Congress shut down the government,” when what should be accurately said is “Republicans.” I’m sorry to say that this generic use of Congress is often a cover - people are afraid to be specific. I’m not saying that about you.
