Yes, with zero programming knowledge, you can build your first application, script, or program using the robots. However, a lack of knowledge of how these things are built is going to be a challenge after the initial joy of building the thing.

I promise you. If you haven’t attempted to build your random code/project/thing in ChatGPT or Claude, then you are vastly underestimating the value. Do not trust what folks are telling you; build something yourself. You’re welcome.

As my father works in chemistry, it's interesting to contrast how onboarding a new grad in that profession looks like, compared to software engineering. Both are engineering disciplines, after all.
