There is a certain appeal to going back to this kind of infrastructure as modern CPUs are so powerful and you can get servers with 64GB of memory for relatively cheap. A 50$/month server on Hetzner could probably run an entire small company.

The lack of content around this kind of stuff is insane to me tho - like, there are so many blogs and youtube channels around all kinds of Kubernetes related stuff but if you want to go the oldschool way it's an occasional blog and mostly dry docs.

Soo? I mean, I am German too but in all honesty if you can't answer how you are going to process the users credentials then using your service is probably not the best idea
