River Tiber's Indigo and Dreaming Eyes have amazing atmosphere if you're up for a jazz-electronic/singer songwriter combination. They recently also did a Tiny Desk which was a pleasant surprise bc of how low-key they've been for years.

I agree with the overall sentiment, but just because something is currently normal doesn't mean it should necessarily continue to be the norm. Drinking cow milk while understanding the exploitation involved with sourcing cow milk definitely shouldn't continue to be "normal".

Yeah, "housing as a basic necessity" and "housing as a commodity" are diametrically opposed goals.

I think it's based around learned behavior, people have been taught by society to reject, suppress, distort and ridicule the vegan position as an automatic response.

The split pea soup one is way better

Indeed lol

I just have a huge mp3 collection to not be dependent on streaming. I still buy used CDs and casssettes occasionally, mainly for novelty, though.

They definitely aren't suitable for roads, so no judgment there

I always smile seeing people on recumbent bikes. Nothing screams "I feel safe and relaxed" more than a recumbent bike.

Thank you for using 'crash' instead of "accident".

Pathologic is in the same tier as all of these, definitely a worthwhile experience

It's difficult. You just have to keep offering more plausible explanations to the issue at hand, planting seeds of doubt over time. It only works if those people are still willing to consider those alternative explanations in the first place, though.

This looks great!

True - they are way more creative than any previous dunkers we've seen. For me, the order would be McClung, Gordon, then Lavine from best to least best

Fs, especially if you have a refill store or some kind of bulk stores, it costs so little, definitely recommend. Same with lentils, split peas, mung beans can be used to create a nice egg texture, chia seeds can easily replace eggs in dessert recipes. I feel guilty about spending money sometimes too

Not trying to project or anything, but just sharing my experience with you

Also, I save a ridiculous amount of money from veganism and zero waste. For example, I'm able to make a gallon of oat milk from scratch for like $0.50 with less than 30 minutes of total effort, plus making snacks and desserts from scratch is way more gratifying and cheaper than prepackaged stuff.

Michael Pollan's "The Omnivore's Dilemma" deals with that exact issue, if you're interested

Would you ever develop local co-op games like Nidhogg, SnipperClips, Manuel Samuel, etc?

I think having a good story in a game is measured by how well the game's system and mechanics reinforce the narrative.
