I have little personal power to oppose the aggressive, mendacious, dictatorial, sociopathic and narcissistic display we have seen today. I am not a politician and I am not rich. Nonetheless, I seek inspiration for how to channel my rage into even marginally constructive acts. Action not mere anger.

There is substantial criticism of President Biden's pre-emptory pardons. This action is certainly unprecedented. It is, nonetheless, a completely rational response to Trump's repeated threats to prosecute these individuals for opposing some aspect of Trumpism (or merely being their family member)

Don’t know about you, but I am not going to watch the inauguration shitshow on Monday. I think getting a haircut is way more important. Maybe a pedicure and foot massage. Maybe folding the laundry. Raking the leaves. What important tasks will you perform?

There are the grifters and the ideologues. The former will cause incidental damage in the service of enriching and empowering themselves. The latter, possibly more dangerous, will damage the country in the interests of achieving a white christian nation. In combination with election interference.
