As far as I can tell, it's a twit sub. I didn't spend any time on the twit even though I had an account. Didn't like having to click a link to read stuff. Also I don't care about whatever folks are yelling about from their rooftops

It's fine as long as you don't post anything personal. You're posting on a public billboard for anyone to see. You can't limit a post to only your friends.
