I have been meaning to find and buy this shirt since July 27 when I saw this photo. It would be okay for once to have missed the fashion trend if the shirt is now obsolete.

245k more Dem voters across PA, WI, MI and Harris wins.

77 days to first day of voting. Many factors and people overly discounting racism and sexism.

'Inflation/economy' was this though, imo, the GOP forced successive ending of covid-era supports between June 21-June 23 put people in $ binds

Also, imo, a vivid understanding of the resolution to 'Tolerance Paradox' is needed. Becomes the engine of action to enforcing the guardrails (society, institutional norms, legal actions). No waiting around for 'someone else' to act or letting the awful spread more and more due to 'tolerance'

I find this excerpt by @mattdpearce.bsky.social persuasive as to role of disinfo by strongmen creating false narrative of economic hardship in democracies backsliding into authoritarianism (including U.S.).

One thing for US tho, imo, housing cost IS nationally broken. So false narrative 'works'.

Frum insisting right wing views must be considered leads quickly to TP.

I like this solution to Tolerance Paradox as a social contact instead of moral principle (it's still one of course but operative as social contract) to help stop the push to the right 'just want to discuss' baloney.

Another one of the booklets. This one about the ABCs of Protesting. Resistance education is happening at college :) I'm sure this is not the only campus.

My sister is a supervisor for food services on a small private college. The campus has been filled with hundreds of these low tech resistance booklets in past three days. The students understand what's coming, starting the work now, and are in it to win it.

He was so badly done by his comms team. Had him teed up like a real debate w set policy pieces w data and 'zingers'. Obliterated by gish gallop and two 'journalists' doing zero (could have just had station intern read off ?s). Hillary put it in NYT for gods sake!

I take care of a cat at times and her person had a new ceramic one the cat really liked. All the fountain ones seem to still have a plastic tube from the pump tho. May have to stick w porcelain or steel bowl?
