Happy #girlsday 2024! Today, we welcomed a group of girls at HITS. In two workshops they learned how to classify galaxies and how mathematical modeling can help explain the development of cancer. Thanks to all involved for making it such an interactive and fun morning!

Finally! The HABITABLE game evolved from a mere idea to a professionally designed and printed boardgame. Winning the competition of "Wissenschaft im Dialog," the team at HITS embarked on a journey full of excitement, hard work, and dedication of which we can all rightly be proud. Well done!

At HITS we rely on math daily to express ideas, describe relationships and phenomena objectively and to develop models and theories. You could even say that math is the language of science. That’s why we celebrate it today and every day.
