Ive been pretty much a Splatoon fan for half of my life and have reached S+ in all 3 games (X in Sploon2 Zones).
The game is great. Gameplay wise, its the best we've seen. The story mode was amazing, salmon run is way better and the game looks nice
For me, the updates, maps and content were meh.

The main problem I had with Sword and Shield was that it felt a bit lackluster to me since I was expecting more from it being on the switch (In terms of gameplay) Scarlet and Violet delivered on that.
It ended up playing like a 3ds game with better graphics (I still had fun).
