my mom was able to see the bloom :") according to her it smells sweetly, but just at night- which makes sense as it aims to attract nocturnal pollinators like moths!
the same plant as in the previous post, but the stalk of buds is now a stalk of flowers with thin white petals

I've never known heartbreak like this (my snake plant of six years is budding, but I'll be out of town starting tomorrow and probably won't see it's rare and magical bloom)
