René Neuville was a french diplomat for 11 yrs at the French consulate in Jerusalem. He was also a prehistorian and discovered many sites in Palestine, among which the famous Qafzeh cave where he found 5 H. sapiens skeletons in 1932!
He is buried at Saint Anne church, Jerusalem
