Today and tomorrow I am giving presentations of recent research at the philosophy department at Stockholm University. Apart from a graduate conference it is the first visit since I graduated in 2007! Looking forward to and somewhat dreading discussions with the audience, including my old teachers.

I argue that bias and ideology is not the main moral issue when it comes to racist scientists of the past. It is their epistemic negligence coupled with the powerful negative reactivity (shame, sense of inferiority) in their research subjects.
