I'm tired and a bit depressed but still gave myself a full 🌱 meal by cooking some rice, warming up some pre-made ratatouille and a can of chickpeas, and making it all look fancy by adding some poppy seeds and chives.
Not my best cuisine but warm and filling and loaded with proteins+fibers 🙏

Maybe related to English not being my first language but I think some of the questions did not call for absolute answers like true now (or younger or both)/never true.

Got these two vintage cookbooks (1959 and 1965) for 2€ at a flea market in a small village of the french countryside and I am already taking notes on how to turn some of the recipes veggie 😊🌱

+ I skip the additional egg yolk and the cornstarch, and use only brown sugar, or a mix of brown and white depending on what I have on hand. Works best with runny discard

Went to a #candlelight concert a few days ago and it was a Queen tribute 😍

I have a found a very cheap cast iron pot recently and I baked a sourdough loaf for the first time in it 🤗
A big sourdough loaf on a cooling rack. The crust has a small ear and cracks and is light brown with some spots in a darker shade of brown. It has some "blisters".
