There is no indication that the public find automated data processing in a
national security context to be inherently more or less intrusive than human processing. The public place just as much emphasis on accuracy, fairness & oversight as they do on intrusion cetas.turing.ac.uk/publications... 3/3

The public self-report limited understanding of national security agencies' data processing powers & v limited understanding of oversight mechanisms. There is generally high levels of support for national security data processing but young adults & vulnerable groups significantly less supportive 2/3
