My breaking point was people insisting people were being "revisionist historians" towards Sonic 06 outside of like, a small handful of people. The gaming community has always had a problem with lacking critical thinking but Sonic fans are especially terrible with it.

Discourse regarding the franchise is utter hell and there's virtually no nuance anymore, it's one extreme or the other and I'm fucking tired of it.
Not like I think the series appeals to me anymore either way with the direction it's been taking since the 2010's.
