Per capita GDP in the US is now over $80K. We live in a ridiculously rich country. Yet gullible wackos have been pushed into the far left and right by social media algorithms and want to tear down the most prosperous society ever created.

There was a measurable rightward shift amongst minority groups in 2024, and it was particularly large amongst Asian Americans and Latinos. Obviously, a wake up call that progressive discourse on race is not connecting to the groups it’s supposed to help.

Ohtani’s contract seems like a bargain. He’s also a top-5 pitcher and gives the Dodgers access to the Japanese market. 3/4 of a billion for a DH sounds pretty ridiculous.

Make LA County more affordable again by increasing the supply of housing through upzoning. That is by far the most beneficial thing for not only Latinos but all people who are struggling with our cost of living.

UHC has a profit margin of 6%. Would 6% savings on premiums even register on the budgets for most Americans?
The problem is a lot more complicated than "muh insurance profits". There are perverse incentives throughout the industry.
