Tesla were pioneers (though are now stagnating compared to rivals) and produce good cars (ridiculous Cybertruck aside), but the valuation is moronic. SpaceX a huge prospect with good tech which will most likely represent the bulk of Musk's worth soon. (Note: he doesn't design any of this tech).

Tesla was *worth* $1 trillion. More than every other car manufacturer in the world combined. All predicated on the idea that the self-driving technology will allow any Tesla vehicle to become an unmanned taxi. It won't, because they've cheaped out on sensors, relying on cameras instead of lidar.

I'm guessing that having had a job at the White House was once something which looked good on your resume? I feel like there is going to be a lot of FAFO for some of these jokers in the future. Actually, who am I kidding? Some rando billionaire will give them a made up job earning vast amounts.

If you think things are bad now, just wait until the AI bubble inevitably goes pop in the near future. The amount of money being chucked at AI (in spite of no return at present) is many times as much as went into housing to cause the 2008 crash. TLR: We're fucked.

Thank you. I would plead with anybody who becomes terminally ill to consider what is best for both them and their family as they enter their final days. If I find myself in that situation, I'll be looking for a bridge to help me out, if the law hasn't been changed.

I wish that some of these fuckers had been there to witness my Dad was slowly dying toward the end of November. Horrendous and cruel. The suffering of his finals days will haunt me forever.
