I love how this issue escalates from fairly standard harmlessly messing around with people using powers faire to "oh god this is genuinely escalating to potentially fatal violence on both sides" it's kinda nuts. I suspect this issue features the record for amount of on-panel guns

Secondly, rare case of intellectual teamwork between these two. Also, love how Irma seems largely more excited than worried about being the criminal in a cop show

I am curious if the intention was that pre-destined selection by the Heart of Kandrakar was what caused the girls to develop magical powers, or if they always had those and that's why the heart chose them/guided them together. The mechanics of the Heart are never super clear in the comics
