Are those the Space Marine Heroes terminators? How do they scale next to the new Leviathan ones? Do they fit in, or do they look a bit shrimpy by comparison?

I don't think it's you, I think it's the subject matter. I've never encountered a single Leagues of Votann player in my life.

I've heard legends, I've heard tales - I know people DID play them for about a week, when their rules were completely broken - but I've never actually ever encountered one.

I chose THIS particular helmet, THIS particular chest armour, THIS particular loadout, THESE particular legs. It's a creative process, but also a deeply personal one. Wanting to create the coolest looking character you can, that's completely unique to you and your army.

It's why I love kitbashing.

It's a little detail, but I like that the King let his horse dress up like Deadpool as a special treat while they were on Crusade. That was nice of him.

I'm a big fan of the sponge and brush method you use to get the camo effect - I fully intend to steal it (right down to the paints used!) for my Marines Malevolent eliminators! 🫡

How lucky you are to be in God's Own Country, Nick! Mrs Brutus comes from York.

She recommends the York Dungeon and The York Railway Museum (where she used to go all the time when she was bunking off school, apparently!)

The way you paint faces is really inspiring. You get such a wonderful variety of complexions and tones - it's a very 'painterly' way of painting, if that makes any sense, lots of mixing and interesting colour choices - and it's something I strive for when painting faces on my own miniatures.

I've paid tribute to the artwork - specifically the sniggering Marine in the background (arguably the star of the piece!) - with this kitbash.

It's not a 1:1 likeness, artistic license and all that, limitations of the medium, but I like to think I've got pretty close.

His name is Brother Elek.
