Rough start to October. Severe case of cellulitis, leading to hand surgery. Hospital for 9 days. Three weeks later, finally feeling more myself.

I enjoy wearing provocative t-shirts that illicit some kind of reaction. Anti-Trump, gay rainbow etc. I’m always amazed “JUST BE KIND” shirt gets more reaction than others. Bewildered looks, double takes, smiles, smirks, “great shirt”, disdainful eye rolls. Is kindness really that controversial?

Last week I became a British citizen when I received my UK passport. It’s wonderful to finally legally and officially exercise my dual citizenship. Here’s me as an English country gentleman! I could get definitely rock this gear..

This was taken just a couple of days after my surgery. They shaved my entire belly, everything, baby smooth, and left me with a fur halter top. Almost two weeks later, and it hasn’t grown back in very much…I feel like Samson after his locks were taken off! When do I start to worry?

Day after hernia surgery. Man does this suck. I’m definitely not looking as happy and perky as I did in pre-op.
