Thank you! I use Blick studio wood panels, lightly sand with 150-200 grit but that's all. If I'm adding gold leaf I use GAC 100 to seal the raw wood area after drawing so the wood doesn't absorb the leaf adhesive. Then a coat of clear gloss spray to seal everything.
