The Marin Chapter of Citizens’ Climate Lobby supports all effective and socially just efforts to draw down CO2 emissions and reverse climate change.

Our strongest advocacy is for a national, annually escalating carbon fee and dividend.

7/13 Multiple scientists whose papers were cited slammed the report for misrepresenting their findings.

Ben Santer said it "contradicted his findings while citing his research." It was debunked within a day of release.

If we don’t solve the massive “free-to-pollute” fossil fuel subsidy (IMF: $700B/yr in U.S.), there’s no pathway to climate safety. Period. Once you put a price (penalty) on pollution, that is when innovation happens, because it has a revenue proposition.

Hi jrg,

Sorry for the slow response.... Lots of Summer vacays, including my own.
I've also missed a few meeting reminder emails.

I will look into recording the Zoom meetings and getting them on our website.
Thank!

(I think we can call it global warming again.)

We can still supercharge the reduction in #FossilFuel use.

Establish a fee on the extraction of all #FossilFuel. And raise that fee every month.

Give that money back to EVERYONE to adjust to the change.

Excessive heat, excessive rain, excessive fires, excessive tornados, excessive hurricanes...

Anyone else think we should be doing something about #climatechange?

Maybe a price on carbon?
