I tend to see people prefer Torna to base 2, not the rarest occurence I've seen

Compared to VI (my favorite game), first impressions are honestly around the same, I didn't actually get super into VI until the Phantom Train segment of the game. All of the games mentioned have banger OSTs, I'm listening to Besaid Island from FFX right now even.

I also do think FFIX's battles are kinda slow as well, I'm really gonna hope FFX's battles are quicker since that might be the one I get to next (either that or I or IV)

The other SNES and the NES Final Fantasy games are the one that interest me most after FFX, the cartoony visuals I do think have me take things less sriously than I probably am supposed to. FFIX's soundtrack can be really good, but I personally prefer VI's soundtrack, VII I'm not sure about.

The other biggest problem is how Nintendo haters have to somehow make every single aspect of every single new game they release seem like the worst thing in gaming and can't really have a fair critique of Nintendo games anymore
