During my career I have worked with some lovely people at NHS England who were great at their jobs. Thinking of them today… politics and policy taking a back seat 💙

Responding to news of NHS England's abolition @hughalderwick.bsky.social says, while there is logic in bringing the workings of NHS England and the government closer, it will cause disruption and divert energy when attention should be focused on improving care.
