Libraries have always been more than shelves of books. They’re spaces of connection, learning, and care. 💬

FOR ALL BOOK LOVERS AND READERS✍️
Have you ever used an AI-tool (book recommendation engine, summariser, smart reader-app) to pick or read a book? What did it change for you — the choice, the experience, the meaning? And if you use some that you liked, can you recommend them? #booksky #technology

Has anyone read this book and if you have what are you thinking about it? What was the part of the book that just doesn’t leave you? If you haven’t read it do you want to? It’s full of suspense, humor, and compassion! #booksky #fiction

This is how Democratic Americans protest and march. Check out the picture of the wagon collecting garbage and recycling! Gotta love it! And gotta love Raleigh, North Carolina!

Sometimes a book doesn’t just tell a story — it helps us see our own.
We’ve all read something that reflected back a truth, a memory, or a part of ourselves we didn’t know was waiting to be seen. #books #lifechanging #booksky

Some don’t know they can ask! When people have a voice and feel respected anger dissipates. Not everything is fixed and healed but at least we’re going in the right direction and can open up to what’s right. When we come with our voice we find hope, with hopelessness, we ain’t got nothing to loose!

Is today your pause or is today a day of action? Remember, find the pause. Don’t wait for it. Take it whenever tomorrow the next day.

Don’t tell my family, but sometimes I’ve been at a dinner party, a birthday party, or a celebration and I have left the party for a few minutes to go into the bathroom just to finish a book! What have you done?

This man was so ahead of his time and relevant now!
This Netflix documentary is about Ed Sullivan and his TV variety show from the 50s to 70s. His show was more than a statement—he booked Black artists despite pressure from sponsors, CBS executives, and affiliates who objected during segregation

QUESTION- why is the Epstein stuff being voted on by Congress I mean, why is Congress involved in this and not the courts? I don’t understand how that is? Can somebody tell me? Why is this not just a regular bad thing?

One of the most extraordinary and prolific writers and poets of our day. She could use the fewest amount of words to express a thought and emotion that was spell bounding. She had a way of deciphering the profound with clarity and respect.

Today in history! Who can tell us anything about this whether it’s a personal experience because you’ve studied it or knew someone. What can you share with the rest of us?

What do you remember? And if you don’t remember, what do you know? Let’s talk about this.
