Then, suddenly, weeks ago, out of the freakin' blue, Todd announced their new blueberry lemon cream donut - with graham cracker crumbs and topped with three blueberries! NO WAY!
And this morning, I got my very own.

with blueberry glaze, lemony creme, probably dusted with graham crackers to represent the lady fingers (and Todd loves adding crunchy to the texture), maybe a wave of whipped cream and definitely three blueberries on top in the shape of a heart.

Since the Ruckus Donuts crew - who I adore from afar (except the 2 weeks I'm in town) - is always creating something new in their donut universe (often for a custom request), I started dreaming of one day having a big party in Maine for my novel and Ruckus bringing Irene's Blueberry Trifle donuts
