Had a short layover in Dublin. What an interesting and bustling airport. Whiskey tasting? Absolutely! I arrived at 730am so passed on the tasting but great breakfast and shopping experience. Irish butter cookies- YUM

It's hot, but the date harvest is loving it! I had never had dates fresh off the tree until I came to Egypt. There are several types but I really love the yellow (see pic) and the red.

And tomorrow, I start the trek back to Cairo. Feeling very emotional as I leave my adult children, my sister & her family and such good friends. Such a great 5 weeks with so many memories...
