Yes, this is scary.

I am traveling in the US right now, and everyone I am speaking with who works in the wine business is terrified.

No joke.

If this happens, my business is dead. Not struggling. Not hurting. Gone. And I am not alone.

This isn’t some abstract trade war. This is people’s lives. Livelihoods wiped out because a bloated reality show host thinks playing economic arsonist makes him look tough. /6fin

Trump voters said they wanted a better economy. Instead, they got a stock market in free fall, tariffs crushing small businesses, inflation that is still brutal and billionaires getting tax breaks while actual American businesses get wiped out.

He doesn’t know anything. He doesn’t know how tariffs work. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He just wakes up, rageposts on Truth Social, and destroys entire industries because he likes the sound of it.

Couple things:
1) There’s no such thing as US champagne. It’s called sparkling wine.

I’ve been thinking for some time that the act of nurturing the land feeds back into nurturing my soul.

Thus, planting these trees not only means giving back to the land, but also enhancing my own wellbeing, creating harmony between myself, nature, and my community.
