[part 2] At Christmas, a mile or so after turning north onto 441, I saw 3 vultures & 3 caracaras feasting on carrion. I stopped for a minute to watch the gruesome sight. Driving home days later, I saw 2 more caracara, just south of St. Cloud, undoubtedly different birds. Love seeing them.

I often drive backroads between PBG and Kissimmee. It can be an interesting drive with bits of old Florida along the way, with some empty land, part of the Florida birding trail. I watch out for Caracaras along the route, north on I-95 to Rt 60, west to YeeHaw Junction, n. on 441, to Canoe creek

No need to worry about him, we can look forward to his replacement... I read that Matt Gaetz is going to run for FL governor.

Years ago, as a high school student, I took a class called Logic and probability. It was the most useful and engaging class I ever took, in high school or university. I learned critical thinking. This ought to be a required course nationwide. If it were, we would not be in today's mess.
