They're also not great custodians of their own IP? Most of the good will they've developed with their remakes as of late have been lucky. They got lucky Bloober knocked it out of the park, but their own effort with MGS Master and MGS Delta has been lacking in some pretty major ways.

Konami has had a bad habit in the past of basically squeezing partners for all they're worth and then tossing them to the side when they get ambitious.
I expect the same will happen when Bloober pushes for their own new SH game sometime in the future, post SH1 and SH3 remakes.

The whole concept is absurd and they keep trying to spin it as this interesting, cool thing when it's just a horrific thing headed by a character whose entire existence is to be "strong" and has no personality.

Also, Hoyo's attempts at like... justifying, or cleaning up the image of the House of the Hearth are pathetic at best and fucking revolting at worst.
I'd argue the House is among the most inhumane and despicable shit the Fatui do and it's held as this positive thing for some reason.

Literally Shadow the Hedgehog tier shit, absolutely despise these kinds of characters.

I played a bit of this and it was very fun, very impressive. Just haven't dived back in for a while but I remember it doing some really cool things.
I also didn't know our friend did that, I'll have to give them kudos next time we speak.
