In addition to all the wildflowers we saw, we also went and walked around a pretty garden with pretty flowers too! It was a very pleasant and random stop on our route xD I love flowers lol

Early stage of a homemade cider that I'm making.
Had a ton of fun yesterday! We went apple picking!!! :3 Picked our own apples in an orchard, explored Santa Cruz and walked around together, seeing all the lovely Santa Cruz Pride decorations at the boardwalk, making apple pies and apple crumb cheesecakes late at night xD

Had a ton of fun yesterday! We went apple picking!!! :3 Picked our own apples in an orchard, explored Santa Cruz and walked around together, seeing all the lovely Santa Cruz Pride decorations at the boardwalk, making apple pies and apple crumb cheesecakes late at night xD
Happy with how this turned out. Used the cherries we picked for it
The bottom layer is a graham cracker crust, next is a lemon bar like layer, then a cheesecake layer, and then the cherry layer on top.

Today, we went and picked cherries at an cherry orchard. We picked 6 lbs of cherries. It was so beautiful!! I made a pie with them so far. Not the prettiest pie I've made, but I'm proud of it!😀 I also plan to use them to make cherry muffins with streusel topping, a cheeseca...

We had a wonderful weekend!!!
Hiking in the redwoods, exploring around. Saw 4 banana slugs. Then we went to Santa Cruz for a picnic on the beach and to walk the wharf. I packed all sorts of stuff for our picnic(sandwiches, strawberries, blueberries, grapes, apple slices, watermelon, chips, etc xD
