very messy digital sketches of shane and ilya. they're the base for the third version in the previous post, but shane has a short hair that looks ridiculous with the thick black outline i gave them. ilya isn't even coloured.

haven't gotten around to watch the tv show yet, but now seemed like a good time to finally finish these sketches of their book versions that i started years ago 😊 #art #hollanov
three digital illustrations (each) of heated rivalry characters ilya rozanov and shane hollander from the shoulders up. all face-fronting and with the same base expression. ilya has light golden skin, is muscular with broad shoulders and a square jaw, his hair is light brown and curly, his eyebrows thick and dark, his eyes hazel, and his nose slightly large. he wears a cocky expression with a crooked grin. shane is slightly shorter and more lean, but also muscular, he has fair skin that looks pink-ish from blush and is covered in freckles, straight black hair, thin arched eyebrows, almond-shaped but double-lidded eyes, a thin button nose, and a friendly smile. in the first drawing (written "part one"), they are around 18 years old. ilya's hair is chin-length and he has a dark stubble. shane's hair is short and his cheeks pudgy, he looks younger than ilya despite being the same age. in the second one (written "part two") they are around 21, both slightly more muscular and with more defined features. ilya has longer hair pushed back in a bun (as indicated by a tiny sketch beside him) and is clean-shaven, his nose is a bit crooked from having been broken. shane's hair is also longer, peeking from below his ears, and parted in the middle. in the third one (written "prologue/part three-four") they are around 24 and again slightly more muscular and sharper. ilya has shorter hair, but still long enough to peek from behind his ears, his jawline is very defined and again covered in subble. shane's hair is a bit shorter, but still long enough for a middle-part, and his cheekbones have fully freed themselves from the baby fat.

and here's a version without all the ambiance, so you can better see the armour. it was equally challenging and fun to work with all these different textures, especially with almost everything being the same colour! it all looked like one black blob before i started the shading lol #art

finished this light study almost 2 months ago (and started it out all the way back in 2022!) but it feels appropriate to post it after that goal today #art

started reading the cinderella boy webtoon recently and it already managed to get me out of a real bad art block 🥹 so here's some future!stargoth enjoying their morning #art
