what a difference 2 nearly 3 years can make! 🐾🚒

i almost forgot that i had drawn this lil guy until someone shared the post i made on insta nd i thought "don't share that, my art is so different now!!" /lh!! and i wanted to see that difference for myself so i redrew him, ta daa ( ˊᵕˋ )
two drawings of the same dalmatian puppy, one is dated "22nd Feb 2022" and the other is "23rd Dec 2024". The puppy has floppy ears and is wearing a red onesie covered in bones. In the older drawing the colours are more saturated and the line art is stiff and uneven. The puppy has both hands on his tummy and his tongue is poking out. In the newer drawing, which takes up more space in the post, the puppy is waving happily to the viewer. The line art is more fluid and the brush strokes make the puppy look very fluffy. Highlights placed on nose, cheeks ans eyes make the piece seem to sparkle
