I agree with every word you said, & while you didn’t specifically mention this, I think the manner of R-truth’s release was how it should be done. I understand the point about loyalty, but both sides agreed to a deal. They paid him what he was owed & didn’t just fire him.

I can agree with the second part, first half not so much. Severence perfected the dishing out of information in its first season in building towards its final scene with the momentum of a rocket. This finale felt emblematic of a season that it could not live up to that first cliffhanger, IMO.
