Our baby girl, Parker Mae, died this morning. We are sad even though we know it was right to let her go. Animal companions shouldn’t have to suffer because we can’t let go. It’s tricky to find the right moment, not too soon, not too late.

This is GG (Gentle Giant), a Rottweiler who arrived at my partner’s shop —a stray with a fawn as a best friend. Now she’s home, got her full medical exam, spay, and shots. She’s charming, smart, loving, calm, and easy going with our other dogs. We love her. Any other Rottie people out there?
