As much as I’d love to keep the conversation going, I don’t agree that capitalism is something to be celebrated. It was built on the backs of slaves and systemic oppression. And Internet tangents are not a form of education. Going to get back to my actual education now.

The Secret/not so secret royal families of America built the system with the intention to oppress the working class. They were quoted saying so all the way back in the early 1900s.

The point is, capitalism insists on zero breaks. Putting brakes on the system would be inherently anti-capitalist. I understand what you’re saying that it gave rise to some of the best conditions in the world, but there has to be a better system than this.
