Looking at where were are now, it’s clear that his legacy is great in a lot of areas but the damage his opposition to the NEP caused carries the potential to destroy everything else since it’s what’s allowed the current UCP to destroy all the other legacies via outright oil lobbyist corruption.

…seems like they may come out ahead by outmaneuvering the UCP’s legal Cease & Desist by rebranding the Alberta Party. I really hope it works.

We HAD a deal negotiated, with the SAME PRESIDENT, and it wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. Negotiating with a failed state like the current US is an exercise in futility and we should honestly just be moving on to saner pastures.

The 3 minute propaganda video they make you watch before even participating in any given survey (including ones we have unequivocally ALREADY given “No”s to like AB Pension and provincial Police) is literally infuriating.

Yes please, but can some of this go towards building and investing in high speed national-owned rail to connect the country together? (Also, don’t know that I love cutting funding from other public services to do this…)
