I learned from David Lynch that you can end a story however you want to and it doesn’t need to make sense even to you. I can’t think of another singular artist that has been such an influence on my work and that of almost everyone I admire. I’m pretty sure he was indeed connected to the moon.

Presenting my dissertation today at a mini conference and then I’m actually actually done. I didn’t end up drawing my entire paper as a comic because drawing a bunch of comics history and theory seemed… well…pointless… (I did have a few sets of panels - incl me as @scottmccloud.bsky.social)
