This round pie chart shows 5 wedges representing the entire population of the U.S. Trump's wedge has 77.3 million people, which is 22.7%. Kamala Harris' wedge has just over 75 million people, which is 22.1%. Only 4 million people also voted (for others). 89 million more people were eligible voters who did not, for many reasons, including the inability to get to polling stations due to work, lack of childcare, illness disability, transportation difficulties, gerrymandering, etc., NOT just choice. The largest wedge represents 96 million people who are residents who are ineligible to vote, due to their age, immigration status, or other legal impediment.
