Paddle or crop to start. Don’t buy cheap stuff with edges.

Pic 1 & 2 are our favorite paddle. Solid, smooth edges, easy to clean. 3- a cheap sex shop paddle, one side has “fur” and the other side as shown. The edges on that are rough- light play. 4 is thuddy-to-stingy examples. I prefer thuddy.
