I don’t post much, I have a thought. I just watched a video on the Merry Pranksters. in a world like now why don’t we just drop out and form our own society? That was the point then. This world is all about control. What if no one could be in control? What if there was a real revolution?

I am the head coach of the North East Striders youth running club in Louisville Kentucky. I am trying every outlet I have to reach out to our Alumni and invite them to a potential reunion/cookout with our present community. This is an initial post to find interest. Everyone of any era is invited.

I want to give a congratulations to Faith Kipyegon for a great effort in trying to be the first woman to run a sub 4 minute mile. She gave the total of all her energy and came up a bit short but under her own worlds record. Congratulations Faith !

I just watched a great Taylor Lorzene YouTube about assignation memes . She lays out how people especially young people came to this moment. I think people have the right to feel as though all of politicians are anti their needs. Where does this lead us? How can we get the country we want?

I am grateful for the people who showed up across the world to protest. After the protests we need a plan of action to move forward. This administration cares little about the voice of the people. We need action!

I’m interested in knowing what makes people hate. Is it fear, is it insecurity, ? Most controlling people I know have something inside that they won’t admit to. What do you all think?

Everyone has laid Present Carter to rest. As I watched the state funeral I thought it was beautiful and there was a lot true feelings there. People like him don’t exist in politics today. God bless him and his family.

To follow up on the knee surgery. I got it on New Year’s Eve. The afternoon I had no pain but the day after I was in giant pain. Every day since it’s gotten better. I have been doing the pt exercises 3 times a day and feeling stronger than in awhile. The people who have cared have been incredible.

Let me join the many who are honoring President Carter today. He faced a hard period when in office but he proved what character and value actually looks like. I haven’t seen a politician in my lifetime who had his total commitment to humanity.

I am a lifelong runner/runner coach. I have had a severe knee issue for years and Tuesday I’m getting it replaced. I’m pumped about recovering and doing things I’ve wanted to do for awhile. Wish me luck!

A word of caution. I have been befriended by two people on here who did a great job of grooming me and when they thought I was comfortably in the relationship went for the scam. To my credit I didn’t agree to either. I don’t blame blue sky because I think it’s just a social media thing.

I will admit that I can be gullible. Am I the only one who is having trouble telling real people from bots ? It seems like social media is prime ground for fakers. What do you all think?

I have seen a Facebook post this morning from a woman I went to high school with. She’s battling stage 4 cancer. She just had a chemo session. The post was about a fund raiser for her. We should be ashamed that someone that sick has to raise money for medical expenses. Where is our priorities?

Finally an issue that the vast majority of Americans agree. Healthcare insurance is something no one likes. If everyone feels like this we need to put pressure on politicians.

Politicians as a whole it seems want to do what’s expedient. Erin Reed reported 80 Democrats voted to pass on the house version of funding including anti trans youth health care for service members kids. No will to fight for principle anymore. They will be remembered.

I’ve read about young men feeling unappreciated and left behind because young women are getting educated and jobs. Maybe men should look into the mirror.

I just read a facebook story about Chapel Roan having a good 5k pr and having run high school cross country. I coach cross country and obviously I think this is a very cool story.
