Raising the tolls, parking fees, gas prices, etc. without investing in transit infrastructure that is affordable, reliable, and accessible is effectively punishing poor people for global warming.

Charging a “market price” for parking won’t change driving habits, it will just make downtown inaccessible to people who are priced out of parking. And those are the people who would work at all the local business you imagine will benefit from the pricey parking.

Oh, I hope that's not normal. My folks (in the 80s/90s) had a couple plastic bins they'd taken home from hospital stays. These were used exclusively for carrying crackers, washcloths, etc. to a sick kid's room and as a puke receptacle.
