I unfortunately haven’t read those so I’ll use your descriptions. For me, dark romance involves questionable characters/choices ex:stalking, as well as some taboo, not sure if this is the best word, topics ex: human trafficking/kidnapping

I definitely don’t think It Ends With Us when I think of dark romance, it’s more of the Made series or Her Soul To Take kind of books 😅
