hey, just wanted specify that the average AfD voter is male, because the OP made a generalized claim that older women are influenced by social media to become right-wing. Not saying there isn’t a big portion of female AfD supporters. Weidel the most obvious one - thanks for painting that out ;)

If that’s what she’s experiencing, sure there might be an increase of right-wing sentiment in other population groups. And I wouldn’t rule out a media attack behind this (Scary!) Just making clear, that generally speaking it is middle aged men that seem to support right wing parties.

I’m sorry but this is very wrong. AFD and right-wing party voters in Germany are mostly male and middle age (30-45years) and in the last years they gained a younger male following. Also they have most voters in the former East German states. You can find a lot of statistics on this online.
