Knieja is the name of the continent (translates roughly to dense forest from Polish) they're on while Irisja is the name of the MC's country. Lots of nature themed names bc the Earth Goddess is one of the most important deities in the pantheon

I'm maria! My world is based on polish history. A lot of the story centers around the relationship between gods and humans. The gods abandoned humanity years ago, but many cults still exist. Some of them do magic using artifacts (heresy), but only one person (the King) can use magic at will.
