Cozy horror has been a thing since John Wyndham, and always will be. In the end, cozy is like horror or romance; a modifier rather than a core descriptor. Cozy is a vibe, a "know it when I see it," and none of us, me included, can set hard rules for inclusion.

Me too! I’ve been writing a novel series, but I think once that’s done, my next challenge will be novellas. Less work for me, but more work being concise lol
